Two men in critical condition following car fire

Two men were found unconscious and pulled from a burning car near Middletown Eaton Road and Ohio State Route 122 earlier today.

The men, who have not yet been identified, were transported to Atrium Medical Center in Middletown and remain in critical condition, according to dispatchers at the Butler County Sheriff’s Department. Medical helicopters were called to the scene but couldn’t transport the victims because of inclement weather.

Passersby pulled the men from a single vehicle that was reportedly one fire.

Deputies and crews from the Madison Twp. Fire Department were dispatched to the scene just before noon.

Authorities are unsure of how the car caught on fire and were unable to release details surrounding the crash at this time.
