Person suffered gunshot wound on College Corner Pike

An unidentified male injured this afternoon in a shooting in Oxford was taken by medical helicopter to an area hospital.

Emergency dispatchers told this news outlet that a male in the 5200 block of College Corner Pike suffered a gunshot wound to his side at 4:10 p.m.

The victim was taken by ambulance to McCullough Hyde Memorial Hospital in Oxford, then by helicopter to University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

Dispatchers said they did not have the victim’s age or condition. An arrest has not yet been made, they said.
