The vehicle’s license plate matched that of a 1998 Ford Contour owned by Charlene Robinson, 70, of Clyde, Ohio. Robinson had not been seen since April 3, more than a month ago, according to The Courier.
Despite the license plate, the body could not be identified immediately and an autopsy will be performed by the Lucas County Coroner’s Office.

The submerged car was reported to Findlay Police late Monday morning when someone mowing the grass near the pond spotted it. The Findlay Fire Department and a local towing company were able to pull the care from the pond shortly after noon Monday.
Police told The Courier that it appeared the car had accidentally been driven into the pond and had been submerged for a long period of time.
