Area Chipotles giving to pet adoption center later this month

All Dayton-area Chipotle locations will donate 50 percent of sales Thursday, Aug. 17, to the SICSA Pet Adoption Center located at 2600 Wilmington Pike in Kettering.

SICSA announced the fundraiser will be held at 15 different Chipotles in the Dayton area and will last all day. Donations are made by purchasing food and telling the cashier that you are supporting the fundraiser.

Participating locations include 1211 Brown Street, Dayton; 1051 Miamisburg Centerville Road, Centerville; 4473 Walnut Street, Beavercreek; 4329 Far Hills Avenue, Kettering; as well as locations in Miamisburg, Englewood, Xenia, Troy, Huber Heights, Springboro and Springfield.

Call or stop into your Dayton-area location to find out if they are participating.

SICSA was founded in 1974 and its main mission is to improve the lives of stray animals and promote adoption. The adoption center is open seven days a week for those who are looking for an animal companion to bring home.
