19,914 cases, 1,038 deaths attributed to coronavirus in Ohio

As of May 3, there are 19,914 cases and 1,038 deaths attributed to coronavirus in the state, the Ohio Department of Health reported.

19,094 cases and 957 deaths are confirmed. The rest fall under guidelines from the Center for Disease Control that enable more probable cases to be reported.

3,769 people are hospitalized and 1,078 people are in an intensive care unit with COVID-19, the Ohio Department of Health reported.

Gov. Mike DeWine is not planning to host a press conference today. He said he would address reopening businesses such as restaurants and hair salons.
