24th grandchild on the way for Gov. Mike DeWine, first lady Fran DeWine

Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine and first lady Fran DeWine are preparing for grandchild number 24 to arrive any minute, according to the governor.

“Looks like @FranDeWine and I will have a new grandson today! Our daughter, Alice, is in labor,” the governor tweeted earlier today. Alice DeWine Dudukovich is an assistant Greene County prosecutor and is married to Nick Dudukovich.

Mike DeWine’s 23 grandchildren played starring roles in his inaugural ceremony by leading the Pledge of Allegiance, introducing speakers and singing a hymn.

DeWine reported that his seven adult children and 22 of 23 grandchildren had a sleepover in the Governor’s Residence in Bexley following the gubernatorial gala at the Ohio Statehouse on Monday.
