McDonald’s to offer tax-day deal on 2 of its most popular sandwiches

McDonald’s wants to provide some relief on tax day.

The fast food chain will offer something pretty darn close to a "Buy One Get One" deal (the second one actually is 18 cents) on Big Macs and Quarter Pounders with Cheese. But this offer is good ONLY on Tax Day — and this year, tax day actually is Tuesday, April 18.

The offer will be valid at “all McDonald’s stores Dayton and the Greater Miami Valley area,” a spokeswoman for those restaurants told us.

Now, in case you are wondering, the offer is NOT good on Mac Jr. or Grand Macs — because those sandwich options no longer exist.

They were “a limited-time offer, but it was very successful so it might come back in the future,” the spokeswoman said.

And hey, if you know of other tax-day deals, email all of the delicious information to mark.fisher@coxinc.com.
