“I will be getting back on the horse at ‘The View’ Monday October 8th,” McCain tweeted Monday, as she thanked friends and fans for their “patience and understanding.”

She said she wants to “keep moving forward” and returning to the show will help her do that.
Vietnam war hero and longtime Sen. John McCain died August 25 from glioblastoma, a form of aggressive brain cancer.
McCain had a close relationship with her father and delivered an emotional eulogy at his funeral.
She has been absent from the popular talk show since late August.
