Schumer announced she was pregnant in October, by directing followers to the Instagram page of former CNN White House correspondent Jessica Yellin.

The announcement was in the form of an image that had been altered using photo-editing software. It showed Schumer and her husband, chef Chris Fischer, as Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, as the royal couple had announced a week earlier that they were expecting.

It appears Schumer’s pregnancy had a similar timeline to baby Sussex, as she confirmed on Monday that she had welcomed a boy the night before. The Duchess of Sussex welcomed a boy early Monday.

Schumer captioned her post, "10:55 pm last night. Our royal baby was born."

If the public was tired of Schumer being pregnant, it didn’t compare how the mother felt.

"It must be getting annoying to you all that I'm still pregnant," she said in an Instagram post on Friday, days before giving birth. "Well imagine how I feel (expletive)!!!!!" She also revealed that she and Fischer were expecting a boy in another post on Saturday.
