’Absence is Coming’: ‘Game of Thrones’ finale will doom workforce productivity Monday, experts say

The Workforce Institute at Kronos expects about 27.2 million Americans will not be behind their desks or on the job site Monday morning, according to the report.

The survey conducted by Kronos was called “Absence is Coming” and researchers can’t be more accurate.

For those fans who may actually get to work, they'll either get there late, work from home or not be as productive as usual, People magazine reported.

As for those who are destined not to sit on the Iron Throne, but instead were fated to work Sunday night, 10.7 million will either call in sick or have already scheduled a vacation or personal day to watch the flames and expected slayings unfold.

According to the report, the “Game of Thrones” workplace disruption, as Kronos calls it, will rank up there with the Super Bowl.

Apparently, they have bent the knee to “GoT” instead of their employers as some fans on social media claim they’re already marked off for the start of next week.
