Subaru Rally Driver Patrik Sandell to visit Wagner Subaru July 28

Top Subaru rallycross performer No. 18 Patrik Sandell will visit Wagner Subaru, 5470 Intrastate Drive, Fairborn, July 28 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Open to the public, the free event will include food for sale from local vendor Zombie Dogz, Subaru gear giveaways and affordable Subaru gear.

Sandell isn’t new to the rallycross scene in the U.S. While he was more known early in his career as a top contender in rally, he made an official switch to rallycross in 2013, where he instantly became one of the sport’s most promising stars.

He has earned 12 podiums including three victories in the GRC and is consistently a top performer. In early 2017 Subaru Rally Team USA signed Sandell to be the driver behind the wheel of one of the team’s Subaru WRX STI Super Cars, along with newly signed driver Chris Atkinson. Sandell’s several years of GRC experience will benefit the team as well as his new teammate.

“We want to touch rally enthusiasts and show off these amazing cars,” said Hanna Lamb, Wagner Subaru marketing and events coordinator. “It’s a day for fans. We want people to get as excited about Subarus as much as we are.”

The Wagner Subaru service department will be open for regular business hours.
