New business coming to former Fairfield gift shop space

The business specializes in women’s apparel, home décor and gifts. It is owned by Stephanie Miller Gonya and Tara Miller Smithson, who started off with a booth at Ohio Valley Antique Mall on Ohio 4. When the retail spot that used to be Pleasantree Gift Shoppe became available, the two best friends decided to move to the larger space, Miller Gonya said.

“We are so excited to share our dream of opening a boutique with Fairfield and the surrounding communities,” she said. “We have something for everyone and we can’t wait for the grand opening.”

A soft opening is set for 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and a grand opening from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
