New boutique offers ‘fun, comfy, hip’ for women

Golden Day Boutique is working to open a second location at 9035 Cincinnati Dayton Road in Olde West Chester.

The shop aims to offer “fun, comfy, hip, affordable” women’s boutique clothing clothes for a variety of sizes from small to 3X, according to owner Caron Armstrong, a West Chester Twp. resident and Lakota graduate.

“We prayed and God answered,” Armstrong said. “Hoping to open … only 5 miles from where I grew up.”

Golden Day Boutique’s first location opened in September 2015 in a 10-by-10 space at Grand Antique Mall at 9701 Reading Road in Cincinnati.

The new location, which was built in 1922, was purchased Oct. 18 by Golden Day Boutique LLC for $150,000, according to the Butler County Auditor’s Office records.

It was previously occupied by Community Montessori School, which moved earlier this year to the campus of the former Embrace Preschool at 7537 Burton Drive in Liberty Twp.
