NEW: Aldi adds grocery delivery to Butler, Warren county stores

Aldi is expanding grocery delivery through Instacart to 5,000 new zip codes in 35 states and 75 major markets, including across Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.

That includes locations at: 1431 Main St. in Hamilton; 7910 Tylersville Square Drive in West Chester Twp.; 3634 S. Dixie Hwy. in Middletown; and 1280 Columbus Ave. in Lebanon.

Customers fill their virtual carts by visiting Instacart.com/aldi or downloading the Instacart app.

Those who are new to Instacart can receive $10 off their first three Aldi orders of $35 or more with the code ALDIDELIVERY461. A yearly membership costs $149.

Aldi has made significant expansion in recent months, including renovating and building stores, adding 40 percent to the fresh food section and investing in technology for delivery.

The remodeling and reopening of the company’s Middletown store last month is part of the company’s $14 million investment to update 11 stores in Cincinnati and the surrounding metropolitan area by the end of 2019 and a $1.9 billion ALDI investment to remodel and expand more than 1,300 stores nationwide by the end of 2020.
