Morris Furniture to give away free furniture to 70 people

Morris Furniture Company will give 70 people at least $100,000 worth of free furniture.

The furniture company, located at 2377 Commerce Blvd. in Fairborn, is celebrating its 70th year of business by giving 70 local residents free furniture. Starting on Sept. 15 and continuing for 70 days, one winner will be selected each day — one winner to represent each year the company has been in business.

“To be able to celebrate our 70th anniversary is truly a very special accomplishment,” said owner Larry Klaben. “We are very fortunate to have an incredible team of 500 company associates who are passionate about providing great guest experiences day in and day out. Making Homes Great is not only our company mission, but it is what has separated us from the many home furnishings stores that just sell items.”

“Customers who make a purchase between Tuesday, Sept. 12 and Nov.22 are entered in the sweepstakes if they choose to participate. Winners will receive a gift card equal to the amount of their purchase. There is no limit to the prize amount. A $500 purchase would earn a $500 gift card. A $15,000 purchase would score a $15,000 gift card,” the company said.

The gift card can be used on a future purchase of furniture, mattresses and accessories, according to a company statement.
