Lonely Planet names top 10 cities to travel to in 2018

Travel website Lonely Planet released its annual list of the top cities to travel — and one city in the Midwest landed on the list for 2018.

Lonely Planet's Best in Travel "ranks the hottest, must-visit countries, regions and cities for the year ahead. The top 10 cities to travel to included Detroit, Michigan, Seville, Spain and Hamburg, Germany. The travel organization also ranks top ten countries, best value destinations, best culture trips for families and best new places to stay.
