6 hiring events coming up in Butler County

Fifth Third bank is holding a hiring event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 10 at OhioMeansJobs-Butler County, 4631 Dixie Highway, Fairfield.

The event offers an opportunity for job seekers to learn about career opportunities. Fifth Third is looking for professionals for the following departments: investment operations, check services, call center, global payments, capital markets, vault, lockbox and item processing.

Horizon HR will be on site from 10 a.m. to noon to hire for positions with Butler, Warren, Clermont and Hamilton counties with hourly pay ranging from $11 to $30 an hour. Horizons HR has more than 45 positions open in the following areas: CNC machine and machine operators, warehouse/forklift, grinders, assemblers, pickers and packers, administrative assistants, shipping and receiving, call center representatives, welders, general laborers and CDL drivers.

Hiring events are also scheduled for 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday (BC Forward), 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday (Little Hands Daycare Center) 1 to 3:30 p.m. Thursday (The Home Depot Supply Chain) and 9 to 4 p.m. Friday (Amazon’s facilities in Fairfield and Hebron, Ky.).
