UC Health looking to hire 250 nurses

UC Health will host a series of open houses starting this week as it plans to fill approximately 250 nursing positions at all levels of the organization.

The open house are aimed at nurses who want to learn more about working at the health system.

“At UC Health, we care for patients with the most complex illnesses and injuries in the region,” said Beverly Bokovitz, UC Medical Center’s chief nursing officer. “Our more than 2,600 nurses lead the way in providing this advanced level of care every day, and we invite those who are interested in joining our team to visit an upcoming recruitment fair and learn more for themselves.”

UC Health is a health system that includes four inpatient campus and 61 outpatient locations, and provides 38 specialties and subspecialties.

“The advanced level of care provided by an academic health system like UC Health provides our nurses with the opportunity to continually learn, grow and advance,” said Kathie Hays, West Chester Hospital’s chief nursing officer. “We also offer something for everyone: the urban trauma center, the suburban community hospital setting, and post-acute care.”

The open houses, which are free and open to the public, will be held:

  • 4 to 8 p.m. Oct. 11 at University of Cincinnati Medical Center, 234 Goodman St., Cincinnati
  • 5 to 9 p.m. Oct. 17 at West Chester Hospital, 7700 University Drive, West Chester Twp.
  • 4 to 8 p.m. Oct. 23 at Daniel Drake Center for Post-Acute Care, 151 W. Galbraith Road, Cincinnati
