“The purchase of this service company fits into AAA Wastewater’s vision to be the best in the industry as Grover was such a leader in this market for decades,” Tim DeHart, president of Franklin-based AAA Wastewater, said in an announcement.

AAA Wastewater will continue to serve Grover Brown’s customers in Greene County as well as Dayton and its surrounding communities, the company said.

Both companies have operated at a “friendly distance” for decades, with AAA Wastewater operating primarily in the South Dayton and Cincinnati areas.

“AAA Wastewater has eight employees and just added one more,” DeHart said in an email. “We are hiring more as well. Grover Brown had three employees and they are staying with their property management company.”

Added DeHart: “At this time, we are not changing our name.”

Four years ago, AAA acquired Nature Calls, a Dayton portable restroom company.

AAA Wastewater Services won the 2014 Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce Soin Award for Innovation. The company recycles all of its waste into fertilizer.
