Day spa chooses Liberty Twp. for first standalone location

The Woodhouse Day Spa will construct a new location in Liberty Twp. just down the road from Liberty Center.

The spa is planned to open at 7272 Liberty Way early next year, likely in February, according to owner Chris Mann, who also owns locations in the Hamilton County suburb of Montgomery, as well as The Greene Towne Center in Beavercreek.

“We are the first standalone Woodhouse Day Spa in the country so there is really nothing like this anywhere,” Mann told this media outlet.

Available services will include massages, facials, manicures, pedicures, body treatments, aromatherapy baths and waxing, he said.

“They will be similar in type and price to what we offer at our other locations,” Mann said.

The business will feature Victorian decor, plus 15 private guest treatment rooms, men’s & women’s quiet rooms, duet massage rooms, bath & massage room, a manicure/pedicure room and more.

Staffing is planned to start at 25 employees but is expected to expand to more than 60 employees, according to Mann.

The new location bridges the gap between the Montgomery and Beavercreek locations and taps into the growing popularity of the area of West Chester and Liberty townships, Mann said.

“We liked being close to Liberty Center but not in it because we wanted our guests to feel removed from the hustle and bustle of the mall, and also be able to provide convenient parking,” he said. “We’re also hopeful that the larger size of this spa will allow us to accommodate larger groups, celebrations and corporate events.”

Include a Columbus location, there are three Woodhouse Day Spa locations in Ohio and 54 nationwide.
