RECALLS: dolls, axes, golf cars and more

Parents, campers and golfers are among the shoppers who need to check to see if they have this week’s recalled products announced by the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

Boy Story action dolls are being recalled after 32 reports of the vinyl on the joints breaking which could pose a choking risk.

No one has been hurt, but don’t let your child play with the Mason and Billy action dolls and the Mason and Billy HeForShe special edition action dolls and contact Boy Story at 240-670-0221 to receive a full refund.

Playground climbers are under recall because a child could be trapped or strangled by the metal openings at the top.

Remove the Burke Merge Metal Climbers and keep them away from children.

Nearly a quarter of a million axes sold at Walmart are under recall because the head can detach and cut you.

There are two reports of this happening and people received minor cuts and abrasions, according to the CPSC.

The recalled Ozark Trail axes have the model number 60111140 printed on the package.

Stop using the axes and return them to Walmart for a full refund or call 800-925-6278.

Yamaha golf cars, personal transportation and specialty vehicles are being recalled because the accelerator pedal return spring can break and cause you to crash.

There are over 400 reports of spring failures, but no injuries.

Thousands of creams and sprays called Uber Numb are under recall because the packaging is not child resistant which could pose a poisoning risk for children.

The recalled topical anesthetic creams and sprays by UberScientific have various sizes, UPC and Lot codes.

Keep the recalled products out of reach of children and contact UberScientific at 877-289-1367 to receive replacements caps, full replacements or a full refund.

Cooler/grills which were giveaways or raffle items are being recalled due to two reports of the wood surrounding the grill burning.

The recalled product has the words “Tito’s Handmade Vodka” on the front and has separate cooler and grill compartments.

Don’t use the grill and contact AAA Innovations at 800-426-7446 to receive a full refund or a $125 incentive.
