Candy store to open soon at Liberty Center

A growing national retail chain that appeals to your sweet tooth, It'Sugar, will open its first Ohio store soon at the approximately $350 million Liberty Center development in Liberty Twp., according to the company.

Founded in 2006, It'Sugar sells sweet, sour, chocolate, gummy and other types of confections, according to the retailer. Plans are for the store to open in the rooftop garden area of Liberty Center, according to the town center's website www.liberty-center.com.

The new nearly 1,500-square-foot Liberty Center location set to open March 18 will join over 90 It’Sugar retail sites.

“IT’SUGAR lives at the intersection of attitude and fun providing an escape from day-to-day life,” said Jeff Rubin, chief executive officer and founder, in a written statement.

The first phase of Liberty Center, a mixed retail, office and residential complex, opened in October near the intersection of Interstate 75, Ohio 129 and Liberty Way.

It'Sugar joins retailer DAVIDsTEA by opening its first storefront statewide in Butler County at Liberty Center.
