TBS, based now in Verona, Ky., purchased Medical Equipment Services of Dayton in January 2018 and merged the two businesses, CBRE said.

As a result of the merger, there was a need for a larger office and warehouse space that had easy access to Interstate 75, CBRE said.

“The company purchased the 19,560-square-foot property in order to consolidate facilities between Kentucky and Ohio, and to bring both to a more centralized location,” CBRE said in its announcement on the transaction.

“The new Franklin office and warehouse will give us the needed space for keeping an inventory and having adequate room for staging larger equipment such as X-ray rooms, c-arms and other medical devices,” Tyler Thornberry, owner of TBS MES, said in CBRE’s release. “The city of Franklin is a great location to set up our company headquarters as we continue to grow.”

TBS MES provides biomedical and diagnostic imaging services to medical facilities. The company specializes in selling new and refurbished medical and imaging equipment.
