Identical twins staff Kasich's campaign

The Schrimpf twins will now be working in tandem on the Kasich presidential campaign.

Chris Schrimpf, the former spokesman for the Ohio Republican Party, has been on Team Kasich since August and he'll continue as John Kasich's senior communications advisor. His identical twin Mike Schrimpf joined the campaign over the weekend as the communications director.

The twins, from Cincinnati, have been behind-the-scenes operatives in Republican politics for years.

Chris worked for Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker and the state of Georgia before joining the Ohio GOP.

Mike most recently worked as chief communicator for Ill. Gov. Bruce Rauner but also held communications posts in Rauner's 2014 campaign and with the Republican Governors Association. Chris also worked as communications director for the RGA.
