“I’m looking forward to working with Democratic vice chairs from across the country in this new leadership role,” said McLin “We recognize the importance of Ohio, and we take our role very seriously. Ohio Democrats helped to win the White House for President Obama twice, and we will play a critical role in 2016."

Prior to being election Dayton mayor in 2001, McLin served in the Ohio House and Senate. She lost her re-election bid for mayor in 2009 to Gary Leitzell.
