Bengals sign WR, expected to add Greg Little as well

The Bengals reached the 90-man roster limit Thursday with the addition of rookie wide receiver Desmond Lawrence.

Former wide receiver Greg Little also was in for a tryout and his signing is expected to be announced Friday.

Little, a former second-round pick of the Cleveland Browns, originally signed with the Bengals last year on Oct. 14, and appeared in six games with one start, catching six passes for 69 yards. The Bengals waived him in February.

The team will need to make a corresponding  move to clear space for Little on the roster.

The 5-foot-10, 181-pound Lawrence played at North Carolina A&T, where he had 79 catches for 789 yards and five touchdowns in two seasons.

He signed with the Detroit Lions as an undrafted free agent on May 8, and was released May 12.
