Bengals add linebacker to practice squad

The Bengals added linebacker L.J. Fort to their practice squad this morning, one day after linebacker Terrell Manning was signed off the practice squad by the New York Giants.

Fort is a 6-foot, 230-pounder from Northern Iowa who is in his second season. He spent the 2014 preseason with Denver, and in the regular season he has been on the roster and practice squad for Seattle.

He played in one Seahawks game, Nov. 2 vs. Oakland. He was released from Seattle’s practice squad on Nov. 11. He played in 16 games for Cleveland in 2012 after signing as a college free agent, logging 13 tackles, one sack, one INT, three passes defensed and seven special teams tackles.
