Quiet start to week before rain arrives

DETAILED FORECAST

Mostly clear skies are expected overnight, Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Carrieann Marit said.

A few clouds will work in, and it will be breezy at times with with a few clouds working in. Temperatures will fall into the middle to upper 40s by Monday morning.

Monday: Scattered clouds earlier will break for more sunshine to start to workweek. It will be breezy at times as highs fall back to near seasonal norms, near 60 degrees.

Tuesday: After a chilly start in the morning, we will enjoy sun and scattered clouds with highs in the upper 50s.

Wednesday: Morning sunshine will give way to more clouds in the afternoon. Highs will top out in the low 60s. We become windy at times with gusty conditions during the evening and the chance for rain showers moving in overnight.

Thursday: Scattered showers at times are expected, mainly during the first half of the day. Clouds linger into the afternoon and windy conditions persist. It will be a bit cooler with highs in the upper 50s.

Friday: Sun and clouds end the workweek. It will stay dry from start to finish with seasonal highs in the low 60s. Winds increase late ahead of our next system that will be approaching the area.
