Fall-like weather returns later this week

We can expect a warm week this week, according to StormCenter7 meteorologist Brett Collar.

Sunny skies and heat are expected through midweek, but a chance of rain is possible in the second half of Wednesday.

Tonight: Clear skies are expected overnight tonight. Temperatures will drop into the middle 60s.

Monday: Mostly sunny skies are on tap to start the work-week. Highs will be in the upper 80s.

Tuesday: Another hot day is expected Tuesday under mostly sunny skies. Highs will still be in the upper 80s.

Wednesday: A few more clouds are expected Wednesday and we'll be tracking a cold front to the west. Some models have it bringing in rain for the second half of Wednesday. Highs will be lower to middle 80s.

Thursday: A few lingering clouds are expected for parts of Thursday. It's also going to be a cooler day with highs in the lower 70s.
