"Lincoln" Leads Oscar Noms, "Hunger Games" Is People's Choice

U.S. presidential drama "Lincoln" led the pack of Oscar nominees on Thursday (January 10) with 12 nominations including a nod for best picture, in the race for the world's top film honors. Daniel Day-Lewis picked up a best actor nod, Steven Spielberg a nod for best director and Sally Field and Tommy Lee Jones for best supporting actor. Close behind, with 11 nominations was Ang Lee's "Life of Pi." The fantastical shipwreck tale earned best picture and best director nominations.
