Salma Hayek honored in Germany
Canadian singer Celine Dion opened the 64th annual Bambi awards in Germany on Thursday night (November 22), a ceremony attended by the country's entertainment elite and broadcast live on national television from the western city of Duesseldorf. Dion is among the recipients of this year's most prestigious media prize in this country which she received in the "entertainment" category. Mexican-born actress Salma Hayek won in the "Film International" category.
