A 6-foot-3 guard, Sibande is a four-year letterwinner at Crispus Attucks High School in Indianapolis. As a senior, he averaged 22.0 points and 7.2 rebounds per game and led the Tigers to the Class 3A state championship. He scored 23 points in the championship game.

“Nike brings a lot of athleticism and skill to our team,” Owens said. “He will be a great help to our guard position and I am looking forward to working with him as a defensive player who can guard a top wing in our league.”
