Mason grad Randall makes history at Ohio State

Former Mason lacrosse stand out Ben Randall has made history at Ohio State University.

Randall, a 6-foot-3 junior defenseman, became the first Buckeye to earn first team All-American honors in lacrosse this spring after helping to lead OSU to an NCAA runner-up finish.

Before transferring to Ohio State, Randall spent two years at Stony Brook , where he was an All-America East selection twice.

Randall recorded three assists and finished with 50 ground balls — or interceptions — from his spot in the back of the Buckeye formation.

Ohio State finished 16-5 and dropped a 9-6 decision to Maryland in the NCAA title game.
