Steen wins again on Symetra Tour

Marissa Steen had already locked up playing privileges on the LPGA Tour for 2015 with a pair of wins a string of top-10 finishes this season on the Symetra Tour.

On Sunday, the Lakota West High School product gave herself more options for 2014.

Steen fired a final-round, 6-under-par 66 Sunday to notch a four-shot victory — her third of the season — in the Richmond Eagle Classic at Richmond Country Club. The victory makes Steen eligible for LPGA tournaments the rest of the year.

“It feels just as good as the first two,” Steen told SymetraTour.com. “Being tied for the lead going into Sunday and then putting up a solid round was great.”

Steen, who became just the 10th player since 1999 to win three times in one season on the Symetra Tour, leads the money list. She has top 10 finishes in 10 of 15 events.
