High School results for Nov. 8: Beavercreeek advances to state final

Joshua Fleck’s header goal in double-overtime sent the Beavercreek boys soccer team to the Division I state championship game with a 1-0 win over Dublin Coffman on Wednesday in London.

Jonah Ackerson set up the game-winning goal with a corner kick. Keeper Liam Dipple notched the shutout.

Beavercreek will face Medina on Saturday at MAPFRE Stadium at 7 p.m.

Boys Soccer

Col. St. Francis DeSales 2, Alter 0: Zack Garrett and Jack Fransisco scored for DeSales, eliminating defending state champion Alter in a Division II state semifinal.

Summit Country Day 4, Grandview 2: Defending state champion Summit scored three goals in the second half to pull away for the victory in this Division III state semifinal.
