Is today a good day to remember the last time the Cincinnati Reds won the World Series

Of course it is!

Admittedly, that is true of any day, but it’s even more appropriate on this day because it is the 27th anniversary of the Game 4 victory over the Oakland A’s that clinched the club’s fifth championship.

Here’s Marty Brennaman’s radio call of Todd Benzinger securing the final out.

Spoiler: It’s as classic as it gets.

Anybody got a Nasty Boys shirt that still fits? (Asking for a friend...)
