HAMILTON — The Miami University-Hamilton volleyball has won its conference title for the second time in three years.
MUH (11-7 overall, 5-1 in the Ohio Regional Campus Conference) secured the regular-season championship by beating Ohio University-Chillicothe Sunday and Ohio State University-Lima Thursday. A loss to Miami University-Middletown Sept. 25 was the Harriers’ only defeat in conference play.
Team leaders during final three-games were Kady Eby (Ross) and Allie Graber (Fairfield), who were perfect serving through the three games. Sara Moster (Northwest) chipped in 13 blocks and Amanda Bays delivered 42 kills.
The Harriers will begin tournament play Saturday, Oct. 12 in Newark, Ohio.
Tennis teams struggling
The MUH men’s and women’s tennis teams both dropped decisions on the road to MUM Sept. 26 and OU-Chillicothe Sept. 28.
The women’s team is now 1-4-1, while the men are still looking for their first win (0-5-1). Both teams host OU-Lancaster Saturday before starting the ORCC Tournament Oct. 12.
