Before Clemson took out Alabama to win the national title, they shutout Ohio State 31-0 in the college football playoff semifinals.

The band’s performance included a cactus in one formation, a nod to the semifinal game at the Fiesta Bowl in Glendale, Az., in January,  they followed by forming the score of the semifinal - 31-0, marking the Tigers blowout of the Buckeyes. Ouch.

Kent State did score against Clemson, something Ohio State failed against Clemson in the playoffs.

The Buckeyes are off to a strong start to the season with a win at Indiana on Thursday.
