Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict is back with the team after serving a three-game suspension for his latest violation of the NFL’s player safety rules.

The Bengals requested and were granted a three-day roster exemption for Burfict, which means they will not have to officially add him to the 53-man roster and make a corresponding roster move.

Head coach Marvin Lewis confirmed that Burfict will play Sunday at Cleveland.

“He’ll make a difference in the game,” Lewis said. “He’s a good football player.”
