Browns first-round pick Myles Garrett will miss the first two games of the season because of a high ankle sprain, the team announced Thursday morning.

Garrett, a 6-foot-5, 270-pound defensive end, injured his ankle during practice on Wednesday. The team said his status will be updated in two weeks.

Garrett will miss Sunday’s game vs. the Steelers and next week’s game vs. the Ravens, and possibly more.
