Township house fire under control

MILFORD TWP. — A house fire which broke out in the 2300 block of Oxford-Middletown Road is under control, according to those on the scene.
No one was injured in the blaze, which broke out at 2332 Oxford-Middletown Road about 5:30 p.m.

There appears to be heavy damage to the home, according to those on the scene. The garage, the roof and a portion of the home suffered severe damage. Other areas thought to be damaged as well, Milford Twp. officials said.
A neighbor saw the flames shooting out of the garage and called 9-1-1, neighbors said. The owner was doing yard work at the time, according to neighbors.
Crews from Somerville, Seven Mile, and Milford, Wayne, St. Clair and Hanover townships responded to the blaze.
