BASEBALL
FAIRFIELD 2, ROSS 0: Senior David Prichard pitched a no-hitter for the Indians Saturday night, May 10, at Waterworks Park. Prichard struck out four Rams and walked three as Fairfield finished its regular season at 10-15. Hitting leaders for the Tribe were Austin Ventling, two hits and an RBI; Daniel Constable, a hit and an RBI; and Evan Schweinfest, a double. Ross slipped to 15-9.

MADISON SWEEPS CEDARVILLE: The Mohawks ran their record to 15-7 on Saturday, May 10, after sweeping a doubleheader from Cedarville 3-2 and 4-2. In the opener, winning pitcher Michael Roe helped himself with a home run, Johnny Burley tripled and Zach Hembree had a hit and an RBI. In Game 2, Justin Shoffstall had a triple and two RBIs for Madison, and Kevin Stacey doubled. Cedarville fell to 7-16.
SOFTBALL
LAKOTA WEST 1, FAIRFIELD 0: Alex Caudill pitched a two-hit shutout for the Firebirds and also drove in the game's only run with a double in the top of the fourth inning Saturday, May 10. Fairfield's Jaisa Fox hurled a three-hitter and Whitney Kelly led the Indians on offense with a double. Fairfield finished its regular season 20-5, 13-5 in the Greater Miami Conference. The Firebirds improved to 13-11, 8-9 in the GMC.
MONROE SWEPT BY TIPPECANOE: The Hornets lost two games Saturday, May 10, in a doubleheader, 3-1 in the opener and 7-6 in the second game. Tamara Davis went 1-for-3 with a double and an RBI for the Hornets in the first game. Davishe was 2-for-3 with two walks, a triple and two runs scored in the nightcap, and Laura Cain was 2-for-5 with two RBIs and a run.
TRACK & FIELD
GLOYESKE WINS TWICE FOR BADIN: Badin High School's Adam Gloyeske competed at the Madison Invitational on Friday night, May 9, and won the 1,600-meter run in 4 minutes, 35.1 seconds and the 800 run in 2:05.8.
