Lady RedHawks clinch first NCAA Tourney berth

The Miami University women's basketball team clinched its first-ever NCAA Tournament berth by defeating the Ohio Bobcats, 67-56, this afternoon, March 15, in the Mid-American Conference Tournament championship game at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland.
Senior guard Amanda Jackson, a former Springfield South star, and junior guard Jenna Schone each scored 19 points for the RedHawks, who improved to 23-10 overall.

The NCAA Women's Tournament Selection Show will be held Monday, March 17, starting at 7 p.m., and will be shown on ESPN.
The NCAA Tournament begins with the first two rounds March 25 at eight different sites.
