Urban Krag Climbing Center

In this 8,000-square foot facility, both kids and adults will enjoy the challenge of textured and sculpted terrain of the center’s climbing walls. Urban Krag offers options for beginner and advanced experience levels. Passes and punch cards are available for active visitors.

Hours: Monday Members Night 5-10 p.m., Tuesday-Friday 1- 11 p.m., Saturday 10-9 p.m., Sunday noon-8 p.m.

Run Around Fun Town XL 

In a village-like atmosphere, children can experience a child-sized town, playground, cars and scooters, and much more. The 10,000-foot facility features a designated toddler room and interactive playrooms. The in-house café provides on-site meals.

Hours: Monday 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Wednesday 10a.m.-4 p.m., Friday 10 a.m.-8 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Closed Tuesday and Thursday. Sundays are reserved for parties.

Fairhaven Children’s Play Area

Nestled inside Fairhaven Church, this indoor playground features what their website describes as “a safe, clean” option for children up to 6 years old. This facility offers separated activity rooms for infants, toddlers and big kids. Food and drink are not permitted.

Hours: Open to the public Monday-Friday noon-4 p.m. and during fellowship Sundays at 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 12 p.m.

The Magic Castle

For children under 11, this facility offers a “soft play” area equipped with three levels of tunnels, slides and mazes. Socks are required. For the bigger kids, mini golf (seasonal) and arcades are available on the premise.

Jump & Jack’s: Indoor Playground For Kids

Discovery Center at Liberty Center 

Here, kiddos can climb, run and jump in an interactive and creative environment. They’ll discover life-size games like ping-pong, an animated wall and even a Cub Club that offers exclusive discounts and treats for children on their birthday. Every Friday at 11:30 a.m., a local librarian hosts children’s story time.

Kettering Recreation Complex

This multipurpose facility features three regulation volleyball courts, two regulation basketball courts with 12 baskets and an indoor track. There are also aquatic and ice facilities available. From drop-in options to nursery play, there are options for everyone in the family.
