Popular appetizers include the beef carpaccio: thinly sliced beef tenderloin, garnished with red onions capers, parmesan cheese complemented extra virgin olive oil and toasted focaccia bread. Why it rates: The Tavernette Inn, established in 1939, is one of the area’s best kept restaurant secrets, boasting atmosphere and ambiance that goes on for days.
