Accountability. Relevance. Reliability. Efficiency. Transparency. Effectiveness. These qualities mark the best and brightest organizations across the globe, and for 90 years the Butler County United Way has been serving the community with these standards at our core.

While our standards haven’t changed, the way that we engage and make a difference in our community is constantly evolving. Where at one time we simply provided a united appeal for resources on behalf of local agencies, today we are able to take our work to the next level: Community impact.

Over the past year, we have been setting our sights on concrete goals that will have an even larger effect on Butler County, and we have captured the concerns of more than 1,000 Butler County residents regarding the self-sufficiency of individuals and families. As we continue to hear the voices of residents across the county, we are setting their concerns within a data-driven, research-based understanding of the various people and circumstances in Butler County. This level of intentionality will help us make the biggest difference.

All of this matters only if we’re able to positively impact people’s lives. More than 100,000 people were touched by programs funded through the United Way in the last year. These programs come alongside local residents who find themselves in hard times through no fault of their own. Butler County United Way gives them the tools they need to become independent.

Your gift allows Butler County United Way to continue connecting resources to important community needs. Without your generosity, this wouldn’t happen. This letter serves as a plea to the good people of Butler County to remember those less fortunate in our community, who depend on the United Way to fund agencies that provide them with food, shelter and educational programming. Please remember to give generously to the Butler County United Way.
