(John) Boehner showed his true untrustworthy self while being interviewed by innocent students at their school. Many of them may — God forbid — have liberals or progressives for parents. I wonder if those kids went home and asked their folks if they have faith in the American people?
Sure, we Americans always will do the right thing without government intervention. We would be wearing seat belts and using car seats, etc. And health care? Where is the representative who told us that it was the Democrats who were not willing to come to the table?
Yet it is Boehner who — when asked about health care — says, “Not in any way, shape or form,” not that we need to seek common ground to get a faulted system improved. I, for one, am glad my grandson does not attend Mother Teresa. I would hope a more balanced opinion might be shared for these students’ education.
