Regarding the call about Sheriff (Richard) Jones being conceited: I don’t know who this person is but it sounds like this person doesn’t really like Sheriff Jones. ... I am not personally on a friendly basis with him but, to me, to show his spirit on Veterans Day and all the patriots who served in his family is to honor them and to be proud. You are supposed to be proud to be an American, right? ... The caller really doesn’t understand what the meaning of Veterans Day is. ...

Please understand: Those with mental illness do not choose it. It is a brain disease. Please refrain from calling those afflicted “crazy.” ... You never know when it might strike your loved ones.
