I was humbled by results of the Nov. 3 election for Milford Twp. trustee. I decided to run for trustee in April and began knocking on doors to meet people in late May. During these last five months, I have been invited in for dinner, sat on porches and patios to discuss the township, helped move furniture, run out of gas in a driveway on Oxford-Middletown Road, been cornered by a bull while on my bike, and met just about every dog ... twice. ...

Even with all the things that have happened, the most memorable is the genuine and sincere generosity of all of my neighbors in Milford Twp. So, thank you for your vote but, even more importantly, thank you for allowing me into your home.

Elected officials are public servants and we must honor the faith and trust that the public has bestowed upon us, by giving 100 percent to the job. I look forward to giving you that dedication, and working together with the other trustees, the township employees, and our respected fire department. Please know that you were listened to and that I will work towards making this great township even better.

I hope that you always feel welcome to contact me, and visit us at our meetings the third Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in the township garage.

Brad Mills

Milford Twp. trustee-elect
