I was watching the civil rights game and festivities on TV. I was upset that our first black president was not attending it. He should have been there. Had this been George Bush, he’d have been lambasted for not attending this special function.

If Obama had shown up to the game, the same people that complained about him not going would have complained that he was a racist for showing up to something that celebrates civil rights. Most people that hate Obama hate him no matter what he does or what policies he supports. That's why they don't debate actual issues.

Since this person was watching the game on TV, then he wasn't there either. I am sure no one cared that he wasn't. President Obama is throwing out the first pitch at the All Star Game in St. Louis soon. If he had come to the Cincinnati game also, this same person would have complained that "all he does is go to ball games". Thank God he isn't clearing brush down in Texas, when he has to fix all the crap Bush fouled up for the country.
